About Dr. Jean-Noel

Fritz Jean-Noel, M.D. is originally from New York City and completed his undergraduate degree in upstate New York at Binghamton University and then completed his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Jean-Noel then trained at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota in general psychiatry with a combined fellowship in addiction and pain rehabilitation. He obtained his Suboxone license through the Minneapolis VA hospital to further help those struggling with pain and opioid use difficulties.

After working at a few different settings throughout Minnesota, he noticed the significant difficulty almost all of his patients had with sleep, so he changed his focus at the time to completing a sleep fellowship through a joint program at the University of Minnesota and Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Dr. Jean-Noel has since become double board certified in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry with board eligibility in sleep medicine.

Dr. Jean-Noel moved to Florida a few years ago for the opportunity to use his different training backgrounds and has worked at several settings throughout Florida including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a sleep disorder center and an addiction program before joining Advanced Mental Health Care.

Dr. Jean-Noel’s unique blend of skills and experience bring an exciting new aspect to the services offered at Advanced Mental Health Care, and they’re part of what makes the practice a comprehensive community resource.
